Welcome.
What I love about painting is the alchemy that can be achieved: the coming together of inspiration and vision which is then transmuted through form, tone, colour, line and atmosphere to create something beautiful and enduring.
Fervent use of notebooks and constant sketching during my extensive travels abroad proved a great foundation. It was from these notebooks and sketches that my Art naturally developed into more finished pieces.
The development of my 'sketches in oil', alongside my larger finished paintings are consistently introducing an extra level of energy to my Art practice. This fresh approach allows me to really develop with each painting I create and explore and experiment freely with different aspects of the Fine Art process.
